Episode 60: How to Be Gracious Without Becoming a Doormat

Ever worried your generosity is being taken advantage of? 🙄

Whether it's holiday parties and events or your church's Nursery team who always seems to need volunteers, there's a million opportunities for us to lend a helping hand. But there's also just as many opportunities to step into something we shouldn't.

During a season that's most known for "being gracious" how can we make sure we keep healthy boundaries in place so we can come out in the New Year ready to take on life. Is it simply that gracious people get walked all over on? Or is there a balance that can be found?

Grab your bible and a perhaps a peppermint mocha and let's chat about how we can be gracious to others without completely becoming a doormat this season. ☕️

In this episode we’ll chat about:
🎙What being gracious looks like - and perhaps the wrong ways it's been taught
🎙What it looks like to become a doormat and ways to steer clear of this flattening fate
🎙What our guide should be when taking on new commitments
🎙What it means to find our grace from Jesus and how to bring it to others, no matter how they treat us
