Episode 13 : Four Ways to Cultivate Gratefulness

We all know we’re called to be grateful…

But many times throughout our day we notice our minds shifting towards what we don’t have, how someone hasn’t come through, or possibly what we wish we weren’t lacking. In those moments we may feel shame and guilt, as we’re reminded how much we have to be grateful for in our lives, but what if thankfulness is a mindset muscle. If we are too anxious and stressed to spend time reflecting on the provisions of God, then why do we think gratitude would be our autopilot response in life? Like so many things, gratefulness is cultivated through intentionality, and being content during a season when everyone is telling you to desire so much more!

Grab your bible and perhaps a warm cup of peppermint something, and let’s talk about cultivating a grateful heart. ☕

In this episode, we’ll walk through four ways to cultivate gratefulness, including:

  • Strengthening your gratefulness muscle

  • Being content in the midst of the holiday hustle

  • Realizing that with thankfulness, comes blessing

  • Protecting your heart from the perspective of lack
