Episode 55: Letting Go of Dead Relationships

Past relationship haunting you?

Our past continues to fill up with a myriad of hauntings: choices, mistakes, experiences, lessons and of course, relationships. Whether romantic or friendships, these relationships, while over and done with, often leave a residue that sticks to our souls, inspiring and directing our hearts in ways we’re not always aware of.

Trust issues? Defensive? Afraid to open up? So often we punish the people in our lives now for the way other people treated us in the past. And while this isn’t fair to them, we’re often unaware of the vows we made, the walls we put up and the lies we believe about ourselves because of them. Ever said, “I don’t know why, this is just how I am?”

Grab your bible and perhaps an apple cider as we take a look at those pesky past relationships and how to keep the in the past where they belong ☕️

In this episode we’ll chat about:

  • How to navigate our past relationships

  • Learning lessons without bringing along the guilt

  • Keeping our past hurts out of our current affairs

  • Some friendships are for a season and why that’s okay 🍁🍂
